Rashin Kheiriyeh received an MFA in graphic design from Alzahra University in Tehran, Iran, and continued education at School of Visual Arts SVA in New York. She has published over hundred books and created illustrations for
The New York Times. Rashin has received multiple awards, including the 2021 Sheila Barry Best Canadian Picture Book of the Year Award. She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and lives in Washington, DC.
