Etan Basseri writes children’s stories about Jewish heritage, focusing on Sephardi and Mizrahi traditions. His first book, A Persian Passover, was an Association of Jewish Libraries 2022 Spring Holiday Highlight and selected by PJ Library for Spring 2023; a Hebrew edition is forthcoming. His second book, A Turkish Rosh Hashanah, was published in 2024. Etan is a Fellow in the PJ Library Sephardi Stories Initiative, a program of the Grinspoon Foundation supported by the Samis Foundation. He is based in Seattle, WA. bio.site/basseri
